A kitten found alone under a house has grown into a confident little adventurer, following her people everywhere and turning every day into a new journey.

A few months ago, a resident heard faint cries coming from beneath her house and was shocked to discover a tiny calico kitten, completely alone and vulnerable. There was no sign of the mother cat returning. Concerned for the kitten’s safety, the woman brought her inside and tried to bottle-feed her, but the little one was too weak to eat. That’s when Chatons Orphelins Montreal stepped in to help.
Rescuers gently warmed her up and placed her with an experienced foster mom who could give her the round-the-clock attention she desperately needed.

Once her temperature stabilized, the kitten—now named Kicklee—began to regain her strength and appetite. To keep up with her frequent feeding schedule, her foster mom carried her everywhere in a cozy little carrier. Kicklee quickly discovered she loved being on the move, meeting new people, and exploring new surroundings.
After every feeding, she demanded cuddles and belly rubs, soaking up the warmth and affection.

As she grew stronger, Kicklee became even more attached, often burrowing under her foster mom’s shirt to nap to the sound of her heartbeat. Her natural curiosity blossomed, and she wanted to be wherever her people were, watching and participating in everything.

Once she switched to solid food, her growth spurt came with a burst of energy. Kicklee started accompanying her foster mom everywhere—on picnics, grocery runs, and even to the office. She would sometimes perch on the back of a chair as if supervising the room, or stretch across a desk watching people work with fascination.

“She’s a little adventurer who loves to travel—by car, by bike, and even on foot to the park,” her foster mom said. Kicklee’s days are filled with playful antics, bursts of energy, and quiet moments of affection.

She even goes for walks around town, often stopping for ice cream, watching the world from her carrier like a little queen. Every object becomes a toy in her eyes—whether it’s paper towels, socks, or even toes—and she plays with the fierce joy of a lion cub before melting into a cuddle bug again.

She decides when she wants affection—sometimes climbing into a lap and melting like butter, other times darting off for more play. At almost five months old, Kicklee has transformed from a tiny, lonely kitten into a vibrant young cat with the heart of an adventurer and the loyalty of a best friend.
