The rescue volunteers immediately fell in love with Steve’s sweet face and gentle personality.
Although he carried infections and partial blindness from a condition clouding his eyes,
his resilient spirit and affectionate nature captured their hearts.

After treatment, Steve was left with only four teeth and a tongue that permanently stuck out,
adding to his quirky charm. Despite everything, his loving soul shone brighter than ever.
He enjoyed cuddles with his foster mom Haley, hugged her with his little paws,
and quickly made friends with every kitten he met.

With renewed health, Steve rediscovered his playful side. He climbed cat trees,
played with scratchers, and even romped around like a kitten.
