Back in September, Tim Newton was woken up by an unfamiliar sound outside his home in Alaska. To his amazement, he witnessed a miraculous scene as a Lynx family scampered across his deck and lawn. These magnificent creatures were gracefully playing and frolicking, their elegant movements capturing the beauty of wildlife in its purest form.

Their visit was brief, and Tim did not expect to see them again, as spotting a Lynx in the wild is rare, let alone an entire family of eight. Their presence left a lasting impression, and the sight of such majestic creatures was a rare and unforgettable experience that Tim would cherish forever.
Two months later, on a snowy day in November, his wife Cathy Newton was awakened by the same familiar sound. She could hardly believe her eyes when she saw the Lynx family return to their porch. On November 11, the mama Lynx came back, this time accompanied by her seven kittens. They frolicked across the deck with the same playful energy as before. Cathy quickly grabbed her camera to record this extraordinary and rare occasion, capturing every moment of their antics and joy.

“It was fascinating to watch Mama Lynx playing as energetically as her kittens! Five kittens were on the deck playing directly with Mama, while two were roughhousing in the yard,” Cathy shared with Love Meow. “Tim was not home at the time, but I managed to capture several videos of them, and they were incredibly adorable.”
